Do you guys peel your potatoes at all? Personally I prefer to keep them unpeeled, but I know a lot of people who don't like the skin. I usually just give them a good scrubbing and cook them, the skin adds a taste and texture I really enjoy.

When do you peel them? Do you alwayd peel them / keep them unpeeled?

skin is the only part of a potato that contains nutrients

i dont like russet potatoe and similar skin unless its loaded with bacon cheese and broccli. its not all that bad on thick cut fries, or wedges in a pot roast either.

red potatoes and similar skins i dont mind so much, add a few unpeeled red potatoes to masshed, or make the majority of a potatoe salad with them adding a peeled russets or 2 to offset the more firm red potato texture.

same

i do like the flavor and texture of most potato skins, also think leaving the skin on can really add to a plate's eye appeal.

I make my own french fries and I peel them first before I do but if I'm making baked potatoes I'll eat the skin.

this depends on the pot bro.

sweet potatoes you dont eat the skin.

most others you can and be fine.

depends on what your trying to do with the side dish.

i.e. baked/mashed/fries/ roasted/ too many options.

This, but even then, mashed potatoes with skin can be pretty nice too.
