Can someone please help me out by giving me some basic healthy meals?

Rules:

1. Breakfast needs to be a grab n go since the wife never wakes up in time to make anything for herself (So it can be something i can prepare the night before or she can eat while driving)
1b. Lunch needs to be something we can eat cold or microwave since we will be at work/school.
2. Nothing fancy...every google search tried making it look like i wanted to be a chef.
3. Cheap college students + married and living on our own we don't have $$$ to throw down on food. So don't say Ramen but don't make a meal that would cost $25+ since we might as well go to olive garden for that lol.
4. Shes slightly allergic to dairy so nothing with dairy over load but still some so she keep her tolerance to it.
5. We do not like mushrooms, pickles and ugh cannot think of anything else at the moment.

Thanks in advance.

i follow a few youtubers, if you're interested in checking them out.

these are some of the better tasting dishes i've made, but they're more on the fancy side:

https://www.youtube.com/user/LauraVitalesKitchen/playlists
https://www.youtube.com/user/foodwishes/playlists (only professional chef on my list, also very funny)

meals usually geared more towards protein, but they're almost all very simple:

https://www.youtube.com/user/leanbodylifestyle/playlists
https://www.youtube.com/user/dhftns/playlists (he has more ingredients, but i think they taste better)

not geared towards protein, fairly simple recipes:

https://www.youtube.com/user/SimpleCookingChannel/playlists (more dessert-oriented)
https://www.youtube.com/user/OnePotChefShow/playlists

i'm not clear what you mean by healthy. do you have a particular goal? low sodium, low saturated fat, low sugar, more organic, more protein, no meat, etc?

as for breakfast, if you work at an office or somewhere you can eat at work, i suggest instant oatmeal. nuke it in the microwave a few minutes, then throw in a bit of stevia (or brown sugar if you're ok with added sugar), fruit (banana, strawberry, blueberry, etc), cinnamon, and a scoop of protein powder

for non-breakfast:
-whole wheat noodles + pasta sauce (make your own or buy jar'd) + meat of your choice.
- brown rice in the rice cooker and add some frozen mixed veggies (peas, green beans, brocoli, carrots) in the steamer, cook in broth if you're ok with higher salt. add some cooked (or canned) beans for more flavour/fiber. add some extra virgin olive oil after it's done. add meat of your choice, or eggs instead
-if you don't have a rice cooker, look into pilaf/plov. basically boil the rice with your meats/veggies
-slow cooker recipes! dhftns above has a lot of good ones. or just put your favourite condensed soup or broth with your favourite meat and veggies and turn it on. really easy and tasty. i recommend these for dinner so you can start the slow cooker in the morning and it'll be ready when you get home.
-meat loaf. foodwishes above has a "prison style meatloaf" with more breadcrumbs instead of meat if you're on a budget.
-beef stroganoff (can be cooked with slow cooker)
-lasagna (much simpler than you'd think, leaves leftovers)

lots of easy desserts that don't require a mixer. cookies, pies, cakes, muffins, some breads (eg: banana)

a yogurt and a banana makes a decent breakfast, if you have time for oatmeal, thats even better.

whole grain rices and pastas are pretty healthy, easy to cook and not expensive.

roast chicken legs are also easy to make and not expensive.

Well by healthy just anything that's better for you than a simple trip down to Taco Bell (which is about anything lol) The wife wants to lose some weight for our trip later this year and figured we might as well give it a shot and I'm sick of eating out.

Thanks for your help! I'll def be checking those links out and rereading what you wrote and writing them down the next time i go to Target.

Yeah I'm down with that breakfast but i think i need to look into some kind of homemade breakfast bars since the wife jumps out of bed showers and goes to work and grabs whatever she can on the way out.....which ends up being crackers, toast (in our brand new car and makes a mess  ) haha but something she can grab eat and go since she works in a pharmacy and they don't really get breaks and for her lunch i always bring her something if I'm off work or not at school.

Ty both again and I'm going to reread it all after I've woken up some more.

steamed brocolli
just need something with holes in it to hang in the pot of shallow boiling water, just over the water
the steam makes the brocolli so delicious :3 Very quick to cook, cheap, healthy.
This of course wouldn't be a full meal, good to have other vegetables, beans, or nuts.
Good high energy, cheap, healthy, and quick stuff.

I am super poor and often busy so quick veggies and beans make a lot of my diet.
