I just made a plate of fried eggs, and when I ate one of the yolks I almost vomited. It tasted like fish, like... VERY VERY VERY fishy.

If I had to give you an idea how fishy it was, id say take a live fish from the water and suck on its face. Thats how fishy it was.

So I took a bite out of the next yolk and same deal, so I fed the rest to my dog.

WHY MY EGGS SO FISHY AND GROSS? I had some yesterday from the same carton and they were FINE!

forgot to wash the pan after making fish?

if youre not sure about them, why would you feed it to your dog? if they were spoiled or contaminated they would make him ill too...

eggs are good for roughly 5 weeks after the sell-by date. after about 2-3 weeks i test them in water before eating. if they float, toss them.

if they're not expired, i'm guessing you cook them in an unwashed cast iron pan? might need to wash it and re-season it

there are a lot of reasons that eggs can smell like fish, it dosnt seem like any of them infer the eggs are unsafe to eat.

This,
and a tip, ifyou flip your eggs over in the carton wevery 1-2 days, it keeps the yolk moist and they stay fresh longer.
