Body: Devil's food
Layers: Salted caramel ganache and candied bacon
Chocolate buttecream to smooth the outside
More salted caramel ganache to glaze and smooth over the outside

Probably the most heavy thing I've made so far but goddamn if it didn't taste sinfully delicious

Devil's Food:
Sift
-320g AP flour
-1tsp baking powder
-2tsp baking soda
-70g cocoa powder
-430g sugar

Mix together
-190g veg oil
-200g hot coffee
-200g milk
-100g eggs
-1tsp vanilla

Incorporate liquid into dry slowly until it comes together
325F on a half sheet tray for 30~min

Salted Caramel Ganache
Chop into a bowl
-50g bittersweet chocolate
-100g unsweetened chocolate
-150g milk chocolate

Heat and keep warm
-400g heavy cream
-100g butter

Make a dry caramel with
-210g sugar
-20g glucose

When caramel turns a rich brown, slowly add in the hot liquid mix
If an crystallization, strain and pour caramel sauce into chocolate mix

Only way I can describe this cake is sinfully delicious.

teasoon is a measurement, not an actual spoon, its 5ml.

a tablespoon is 15ml.

Wonder if you used different flour how it would change the dish that much. Maybe pastry flour or something else.
