please define "bad" in context. it is more expensive than things like rice but cheaper than other things. if you get meat with a lot of fat, then it's more fatty than alternatives. meat is usually heavier on saturated fats in particular, which isn't necessarily unhealthy. meats also have a little bit of trans fat which is unhealthy.

eggs, on the other hand, are very healthy and affordable. can't think of a single negative aspect.

Meat provides essential vitamins like Iron that keep your body warm, provide oxygen to your blood cells and other very positive things. Plus protean is the building blocks of life, not just something you need to build muscle. I love meat.

Let's see, cave men ate meat and eggs for millions of years so I'm going to say no...

You need protein to survive. Even vegans have protein in their lifestyles.

So why even mention protein considering it isn't difficult to get elsewhere whatsoever?

Health wise, it's just as Returnformer said..Too much of anything is bad, though I'd say the problems aren't with eating meat, as much as it is with the methods that we mass produce it nowadays.

Because we eat meat that was pumped full of growth hormones and food that is unnatural to the animal's diet? Because our hamburgers are blended together from thousands of different animals from different areas? Because we consume far more than we should on a daily basis? Because the system that we produce such things is unsustainable and destructive?
Damn..It's like it was a fucking challenge to think consciously for a second.
