So I introduced a bunch of my fam to chiliism.....
It started when I was staying over and I decided to make dinner. I made curried pork and chicken with Serrano chiles, lots of garlic, onions, bells, peas, green beans and some carrots.

I would give it a nice 3.7/5 stars but it was gobbled up with some naan.
I continued to spoil them with curry every time I visited.

sometimes I would make curry soup.
sometimes I would make curry egg scrambles with the meat n veggies.
etc.

Now they are on their way to chilidom but I've been a chilihead for a while...

My favorite raw chili would have to be the Habanero. Great flavour and the perfect heat level for any recipe.
My favorite cooking peppers would be Jalapeno and Serrano chiles, to add flavour with a touch of heat, usually augmenting the heat with some sort of powder.
My favorite powdered chili is probably the Moruga variety.

I just got a jar of powdered bhut jolokia in the mail, it's called Wicked Tickle.
I put it on some rice snacks and my wife refused to enjoy some with me and told me not to bring the bag of snack into the room.

So I'm out here in the dining room enjoying some redonk hot rice snack mix.... well I just got done actually... I couldn't really bear the constant heat...
Afterwards, I feel like I just got high or something.... My lips were on fire but now everything just feels like it's in place... B)

ok now to stay on topic I want to know and maybe get to know some chiliheads here on d2jsp....
so post some details, some recipes, some stories, whatever......

If i ever have eggs and bacon it has to have some form of Chilli or Chilli Paste haha

chilli needs to sit for 2+ days so the flavors can marry and i use some finely shredded granny smith or any apples in mine to cut back on the acidity.

oh this is about the vegetable, eh, not a fan of hot stuff so much, but i like a little heat in my chili.

got any good chili powder recipies?

no I do not... it is not a pepper to take lightly....
or more like it IS a pepper to ONLY take lightly...

I use powdered bhut jolokia on snacks. It is insane if you aren't used to spice...
I eat habs like nothing though... those are good raw or cooked...

I'm beginning to like the flavor of roasted peppers and chipotle more and more.
I haven't tried making a roasted pepper salsa though.
