What did you guys think of the three course dinners they prepared?

The things I would have been most curious to try were the seared duck liver, the monkfish, and the basil panna cotta (mostly because of that jam).

It all looked good, though.

I thought it was a pretty good showdown, they both brought alot to the table, but overall I think the decision to go with Luca was the right choice. His originality and technique required to make his dishes work was a good deal higher then Natasha's. Natasha did good but she didn't do anything that blew me away atleast.

I agree on Luca being the right choice. He was willing to take a lot of risks and possibly fall flat to attempt to be great. He had some failures in the course of the competition but he was able to learn from it and apply what he learned. Pretty great stuff. And I kind of like that he didn't do what he did with a huge ego. He always seemed receptive to the criticisms as well as the praise.

Yeah, very sportsmanlike. But what did you think about those courses?

I'm watching it every week. Those kids are pretty incredible. Wish we could have gotten the audition episodes where the judges try their dishes to decide who gets to come to the MasterChef kitchen.
