i make salsa all the time and my mild salsa seems to be 2 hot.

but 2 mild for me.

so i have went out and bought a Yellow Jolokia Bhut plant
some red savana habineros and Serrano

now i have eaten habineros and serranos all the time but have yet to try a Yellow Jolokia Bhut
What would u say the limit of these Yellow Jolokia Bhuts i should put into my salsa.

Well, a Ghost Pepper (the Bhut Jolokia) is about 3 times hotter than a habanero, so I'd just do trial and error in small batches, find out what you like that way.

was thinking this i use like 3-12 harbineros in my salsa when i make it hot depending on what kind/quantity was going to try 1 single ghost at 1st since after marinating it might just put the whole salsa on fire haha

my fear is trial and error with the marinating dont want to kill the salsa with pure heat/ghost flavor and idk how well they marinate
