In Spanish they call it chile de arbol
tree chili in English

friend id it as this can anyone confirm or agree?

had to google it, but ive seen the chillis for sale at the farmers market, not the plant though.

it was labeled as bird beak chili, so yes, tree chili.

Arbol chiles are skinnier and more red, so that's probably not it.

yeah when i googled it it didint look the same....

btw for more info it is about the size of a thumb has a green tip looks almost identical to a mini jalipino and is almost looks like it is drying up/wrinkling up
