Two shots tequilla (any dark will work make sure 100 % agave)
One shot triple Sec
Half shot lime juice.
Shake in shaker with few ice cubes


Dip rim of glass in lime juice
Coat in kosher salt or sea salt

Add ice then pour over this glass.

Garnish with a lime wedge.

Enjoy!

Not really a margarita.. just tequila + lime ;)

The best Margarita all depends on the quality of ingredients

That being said, saying any Agave will work will not always lead to a great Margarita

You should specify which liquors you have personally tried and suggestions for folks who are unfamiliar with Tequila

Also, Cointreau in place of Triple Sec would be a must

I would also throw a shot (or half) of some Grand Marnier and some fresh Blood Orange juice, spectacular Margarita


Simple, though, as it should be

im using cheap 20$ tequilla and its great

if i spend 60+ on tequilla im gonna drink it straight.

i.e don julio

I find that el Jimador makes great margaritas. It's cheap and smooth.
