Anyone have any recommendations or advice?

budget is ~$50-75 if it comes with glowing rec -_-

prefer low maintenance bee tee dubs.

if you truly are looking for advice, id wait a bit more than 7 hours on here. there are some people, from what i can tell, on here that are pretty knowledgeable about cooking. they dont frequent this subforum often as it doesnt get much traffic, but i see them post now and again.

i know what you mean, but it seemed pretty active lately and this was just a spur of the moment - "i should get a knife" thing.

i'm still looking btw ^_^ love to shop.

Personally I just get global knives, they're like 20 bucks each and they last a long time as long as you take care of them. If you mess them up badly, just buy a new one. They're what most restaurants use for knives.

Now if I had the money for sure I would go for some sweet Japanese steel. They do make hands down the best knives but they are extremely pricey.

yeah wtf kinda global knife are you buying because those things are 125++ <_<
