Question:

Does a tequila cocktail go well with rib eye and potatoes?
would you rather enjoy a beer with said rib eye and potatoes?

this rib eye will be seared then broiled to medium / medium well.
potatoes will be de-eyed then baked with butter and green onions added.
on the side will be frybread cause im craving frybread.

Voted beer, Since there are a lot of varieties and you can usually find one that goes good with your meal

To be honest, a ribeye is one of the worst steaks that you could cook beyond medium. PLEASE do not cook it more than medium. Medium well is too much.

Anyways, to answer your question as per how I would do it, I would say a beer for the meal followed by a tequila shot after the meal would be the best way to do it.

And by shot he means half the bottle.
I would have chosen beer also, not that I like beer.

Chances are the bottle would be half done before I even started cooking.

Gotta give myself a handicap otherwise the food comes out too good.
