hey guys I was wondering what are some of your basic chicken breast seasonings/recipes that you like to do on the stove?
I've never cooked before in my life, but I picked up a few chicken breasts the other day because I love chicken and I want to start cooking.
Both of the breasts I've cooked came out alright, they were cooked fine, they just lacked some punch to it.
Today when it was almost done cooking I poured some lemon juice into the pan and let most of it burn off, then poured yellow rice over the top of it.. It was a lot better than the first one :P

When im just cooking boneless/skinless chicken breasts real quick I will just do it in a shallow pan on the stove. I usually season the chicken with pepper, lemon pepper, garlic salt, Emeril's "essence" (good all around seasoning), cayenne and/or new mexico chili powder. Heat some of your'e preferred oil (I like olive) and some butter for taste. Cook for like 6-7 mins a side or until internal temp is 165 degrees. Usually serve with steamed asparagus and a baked potato or something.

That's what I was doing to cook it. I think my main problem is I don't know what to season with. ( Again, I've never cooked anything outside of eggs and bacon before honestly, hahaha)
thanks for the suggestion :)

chicken breast is one of my most hated proteins because its so useless most times.

i stir fry it with garlic, ginger, w/e crunchy veggies, like leek and peppers, rice wine, soy sauce, add some spicy bean sauce to finish. but the recipe is much better with chicken thigh/leg with bone-in.

could always pound it flat and make chicken fried steak :)

Peanut butter chicken, it's an Asian thing...real good.

Cook up some chicken breast, season with salt/pepper, cut up into bite size pieces

Sauce: Peanut butter, soy sauce, water, red chili flakes, tomato sauce ( or ketchup works), sugar, and anything else you feel like adding. ( Lots of recipes online if you just type peanut butter sauce, peanut butter chicken, etc)

Serve the chicken over rice, and use sauce to dip, or coat as you find fitting.

If you use ready rice, or any rice you don't have to make in a rice maker, this whole thing from the time getting ingredients out, to sitting down to eat, takes about 20 mins.
