you forgot the third choice: neither.

both are tasty, can be cooked many different ways, etc.

"superior" protein? iirc skinless boneless chicken breast has the highest protein content by percent of the two.

A lot more dishes you can combine it with because of the undistinguishable flavor

No define answer. All up to personal preferences. Some might be allergic to one or even both of the two you posted.
Both can be used in many different ways, some might be even be similar to each other.
