For some good stuffed peppers, idk if many people like these but I was over a friend's house and his mom made these and they were amazing

Looking for one with I guess the following:
Browned Ground Meat
Sauteed Onions
Browned Rice is a preference I guess but not needed
Tomato Sauce, but not too much
Maybe something to give them a little kick like adding hot sauce or crushed red pepper flakes to the tomato sauce

Idk, if anyone likes these and has recipes, please do share o.o

usually the meat isnt cooked first, but you could if you wanted.

cut the top off the peppers, set aside, remove seeds, etc.

dice small 2-3 onions, sautee. set some aside for sauce.

mix:
2 lbs ground beef
half the sauteed onions
1 cup cooked rice
crushed red pepper flakes
salt
pepper
one egg

stuff peppers with that, put the tops back on.

for the sauce, either use a jarred one as a starter, or canned tomato sauce as a base, or make your own from scratch if youre so inclined.
add the rest of the onions
garlic
salt/pepper
oregano
basil
marjoram
a lil sugar

cook the peppers in the sauce, covered, for 45 min or so until cooked through.

note, i just wrote this up, havent actually tried it. it should be a pretty good basic stuffed pepper recipe, though. try it out and then adjust to taste.
