i was given a nice little jar of pure raw honey my someone i work with.
i was wondering if there are any kind of recipes or marinades you could suggest i can use it with?
i know you can use it as a sweetener, but maybe theres something that has honey as the base which gives a nice flavor for a recipe!
thank you!

http://www.honey.com/nhb/recipes/

this site is very comprehensive

I'd recommend: http://www.honey.com/nhb/recipes/recipe-details?RecipeID=284
but instead of using the broiler, putting them on a grill for a bit less time

i wouldnt use it for any marinades or anything that will be cooked. im not sure if youre concerned about this sort of thing, but one of the main health benefits of raw honey is that the natural antibiotic properties are largely destroyed by cooking it. i would use it mainly for things like salad dressings, which wont be cooked. for marinades and cooking purposes, get a jar of [cheaper] regular honey.

It's even better when local as it introduces small amounts of common and near by allergens allowing you body to get a bit more used to them w/o going overboard.
