Almost any type of spaghetti/pasta for me. That, or Shepard's Pie. This is my mom's recipe:

6-7 GOOD size potatoes (boiled)
1 1/2lbs ground beef (browned)
2 GOOD size onions sliced
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 bottle barbecue sauce

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Brown the ground beef with the onions and drain it. Then, mix it with the bbq sauce. You don't have to use the full bottle, just use how much you want. Then, mash the potatoes how you normally do (nothing fancy though). In a 2 quart casserole dish, layer the ground beef w/ bbq sauce, then the mashed potatoes, and top with the cheddar cheese. Then bake 20-25 minutes uncovered.

I don't really have a comfort food. I'll eat pretty much anything for subsistence.
