This is a recipe for home made cheesecake. My sister showed me how to make this a few years ago, and it's very delicious!

What you will need:
3 cups of walnuts
4 cups of white powdered sugar
2 sticks of melted butter
2 packages of cream cheese
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
2 cool whip containers

Pre-heat your oven to 350. Get a large bowl to add the walnuts in and crush them up very nicely. After you've crushed them up very nicely (may take a while depending on how nicely crushed you want them) you add two cups of powdered sugar and two sticks of melted butter. Mix the contents together nicely then transfer the walnut mixture to a sprayed baking pan ready for the oven. You need to flatten the walnuts in the baking pan so that everything is completely even. Let it cook for 15 minutes at 350.

In the mean time you have to make the cream. In a large bowl add two packages of cream cheese (plain cream cheese) Add two cups of powdered sugar. Add two teaspoons of vanilla extract. Whisk everything together (about five minutes) until the cream cheese is broken up and smooth. After you've broken the cream cheese up, add two whip creams (comes in containers) to the bowl. Mix the contents all together (about two-three minutes) until everything is mixed and fluffy. Let it cool in the fridge. By this time your walnuts should be done so take them out of the oven to cool.

When the crushed nuts are cooled and the whip cream is cool, spread the whip cream on the top. If you'd like you can get whole strawberries or cherries in a can and drain the juice. Cut them in quarters and add them to the top of it. Let cool in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Cut it like you would a cake and then eat it. It's very delicious you should try it! :)

*Note this could serve up to 20 people (a crowd) so you can feel free to modify any ingredients or serving sizes to your liking. :)

I just made cheesecake yesterday. The recipe I followed was more difficult, but still came out delicious:

15 graham crackers, crushed
2 tablespoons butter, melted

4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3/4 cup milk
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch springform pan.
In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press onto bottom of springform pan.
In a large bowl, mix cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Blend in milk, and then mix in the eggs one at a time, mixing just enough to incorporate. Mix in sour cream, vanilla and flour until smooth. Pour filling into prepared crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Turn the oven off, and let cake cool in oven with the door closed for 5 to 6 hours; this prevents cracking. Chill in refrigerator until serving.
