What is your favorite type of brew? The one single beer that you would want with you on a deserted island, to drink for the rest of your life.

Give an example of your style and convince everyone else why your choice is best. ^_^

My favorite is Porters. I'm a big fan of English Porters, specifically Fuller's.

I haven't had the Firestone, but I like all the other one's you've listed.

Some others to try:

Oskar Blues Deviant Dale's and Gub'na
Avery Maharaja and Dugana
Three Floyd's Dreadnaught
Southern Tier Unearthly
Port Brewing Hop-15

Cant go wrong with a good IPA. If its really hot out though I prefer something a little less hoppy.

Btw Ruination is one of my fav IPAs. We are about an hour away from Stone so we try to go as much as we can & test all the new flavors.

Extra Special Bitter ( http://www.wyeastlab.com/hb_styledetails.cfm?ID=147 )

We prefer the London 1968 yeast strain. It works great for our brew. We've got a frozen stock in the freezer :o

And a Fisher flask in the kitchen to prepare the starter culture. As for the beer bottles ... they're individually capped with tin foil and baked in the oven to sterilize them.

Field of science I'm in? Well..... I kill things on USEast Classic Ladder DII if that counts. Oh.. and I wrote a sorc fireball as well.
