I cooked this last night. First a 5 minute soak in lemon juice. Then lightly salt and pepper the fillets. Then coat with Louisiana Fish Fry mix. I fried the fillets for about 7 or 8 minutes until golden brown. Also made Jalepeno Hush Puppys to go with it.

i like to make fish tacos with my talapia

cube it up and soak in beer/lemon/lime/ onion salt/pepper/smashed garlic for an hour or so

then cook on lowish medium with a slash of tequila so it steams the flavors in

toss tortillas on the cook top (gas or electric, mines gas) and cook em up

put on a tortilla with some onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime

serve with rice beans and chips

i like to take the extra liquid from cooking and drip it on my rice

My personal favorite:
Crack two eggs, and add a splash of milk into the bowl, whisk, and add sea salt, fresh ground pepper, and crushed garlic (or garlic powder if you prefer).
Then coat the Tilapia in it.
Get a bag of pistachios, shell them, and then crush.
Sprinkle the crushed pistachios on the dipped tilapia, and bake at 350 degrees. after about 5 minutes, pull it out, and coat it with a marmalade of your choice, anything citrus based is lovely. From there, Bake until cooked to your preference, and enjoy!
