The steak had some intense marbling and it takes well to cooking medium rare so I did a butter and rosemary poached chuck steaks @ 120 F for 3 hours.


While leaving that to be, I prepped some nice veggies

Oh man that looks so good. Better than what I have had in a long while.

Did you grow the rosemary yourself? I know some people do, and the school i used to attend grew it near a pond and the culinary teacher flipped when he found out, rosemary for weeks. :rolleyes:

Hmm never cooked a steak like that. How did it turn out?
