Pepper jack Bacon Jalapeno infused hamburgers....

1 lbs of ground beef
1 Egg
few Ritz crackers pounded down to a fine grind
a small handful of pepper jack cut down into tiny tiny pebbles
2 slices of bacon slightly pre-cooked
5 jalapenos diced finely

Lots of prep-work, but paid off... I would recommend doing a meatloaf instead following the same idea... hamburgers took a bit too much prep work for it to be worth it

not much of a chef myself, but im sure you could mix the crackers/pepper jack/jalapenos in a blender or w/e they are called and then just infuse that into meat and egg. that should save some time, the bacon on the other hand, i would personally grill next to the burger and just put it on afterwards.

^^^ same. I'd prefer to cook my burger less and have a more distinct bacon texture. I think it would come out much better keeping these ingredients as toppings. This is more of a meatloaf sandwich than a burger to me

there is a tex-mex inspired meatloaf very similar to this taking a typical meatloaf base recipe and adding the chopped japs/ pjack cubes then topping with an over easy egg and a verde gravy (green chilis, kinda spicy beef broth, broiled tomatoes, some liquid smoke, smoke paprika(what makes chorizo different than most sausage) cooked for a goodly while)

/e when I made it I served it on a platter with a bunch of small cut boiled potatoes I strained and finished cooking with some of the broiled tomatoes, anaheim peppers, and a mexican mustard thinned out with some chicken broth
