ive tried making it a couple times and failed both times lol, after all the prep work its a huge let down QQ

so looking for a good recipe that ingredents are to hard to gather around

That is an interesting idea. My instinct is to try something like red pepper and citrus. I shall experiment and report back.

Hot and sour soup is an actual Chinese dish made with vinegar and white pepper. I have tried to make a few versions and like Ming Tsai's the best:

Follow his advice and go heavy on the vinegar and pepper. I also usually take the easy way out and just put some diced tofu in rather than bother with the fritter.

Try the delicious Thai soup called: Tom yum

here is the receipe:

3 chili peppers
5 sprigs cilantro
2 tablespoon fish sauce
3 kaffir lime leaves
1 lemongrass
1-2 limes
5 Mushrooms
1 cup shrimp
4 cups water
1 tablespoon Nam Prig Pow Optional
