an injury today at work inspired me to make this post...to all the cooks out there, what are the worst injuries you've sustained at work (or at home even).

today just cut my thumbprint off
have a nice big scar on my hand from a 500 degree oven burn
minor cuts/burns

few years ago I stabbed my palm hand very deeply with an oyster knife lol

burned myself from touching something hot that just came out of the oven but didn't know it was hot and just came out the oven.

the fingers on my left hand are about a turkey slice shorter than they used to be, because that time i was slicing turkey.

got some gases in my eyes from cutting up an onion

shit sucked, gf thought i was crying for no reason (she had no idea that onions do that, shes never cooked lmfao)

broke up with me for yelling at her

told all my friends im a pussy and was crying about my fish dying (stupid bitch made that up)

even my mom laughed at me

havent been this depressed since highschool...

Boiling hot water all over my hand, fun times.

For me burns are nothing. Smoking hot oil, 500oF oven... i don't really care, i got used to it.
What's way worst for me are cuts. Ive cut myself badly 2 or 3 times, cutting a good part of my nail and the flesh/finger behind it... shit ton of blood everywhere, 3 or 4 plastic gloves that gets filled with blood as i continue to work...
