Slightly uneven imo, but I would devour it nonetheless.

It had this DELICIOUS smoky, charcoal taste that was perfectly distinct that it wasn't subtle, but still didn't dominate the main flavor of the steak (which was at the forefront). The key to grilling a good steak is to leave it alone. Season it with some salt and leave it out for a bit, put it on the grill, flip it once, leave it alone!

Since I was making this for a date of mine I went all out though and did the cross-cut grill marks on both sides of the steaks to make it look a little fancier, I should have taken a picture before I cut it, but oh well. Next time it probably needs some sort of starch on the side, I might do mashed potatoes and then replace the broccoli with asparagus, I didn't like the broccoli much.

I thought the same thing with the more rest. I find it to be cooked to my liking though. I usually eat my steak medium-rare.

What's on top of the broccoli?

That's not medium rare, more like medium, if not medium well for some pieces...

Looks a lot rarer than medium to me. Either way I would devour it.
