What are some good recipes for a college student with a limited budget.

Looking for very interesting foods that are quick and easy to make.

Nothing resembling ramen or frozen pizza items :P I hate that now lol.

Smoothies tend to be too expensive because of fruit/vegetable prices (I live in the city). What cheap items would you recommend using?

I like homemade Italian food, but I feel as if I got into anything it would be really expensive.

I like dishes involved with pasta.
Lighter / healthier stuff too, I eat a lot of junk food.

Just pick up potatoes, rice and or pasta and work from there.... add whatever veggies/meat that are cheap at your local market...

Nothing beats ramen if you're on a low budget.
They cost like 10 cents per pack if they are on sale.
