where can i buy chipotle paste, hate making my own via chipotole adobo sauce.

i live in canada BC, not even mexican marts will sell the paste around here, they sell the chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, but it's way too spicy and not enough chipotle taste, ends up being too bland (chipotle-wise) or way too spicy

Well i realize some paste are less spicy then whole chipotle in adobe sauce, but if you're gonna cook with chipotle and you actually want the chipotle flavour profile (and not only the smoke flavor profile) it's gonna be spicy. If you can't take the heat, maybe use something else? For me when i cook with chipotle it needs to taste the chipotle, and yes its gonna spicy... its jalapenos after all...

i like the uhh i guess barbecue type flavour of it, the brass chipotle paste, but yeah it's just way too spicy and tbh don't really like that when i'm cooking pastas n shiet

You could try one of the various chipotle sauces out there. I like Tabasco's chipotle verson--and most stores will have it--but it's not exactly mild. You could also buy dried chipotles and start with them.
