Blackened Cajun prime rib with a good bottle of Zinfandel.

More or less this recipe with homemade spice rub and starting with a whole 4 bone rib roast. Spice up the roast and let is sit over night; crisp up the fat in a 450 degree oven for 1/2 and hour; chill completely; cut into steaks; spice those up; cook them on the grill.

Four Vines Biker Zinfandel is our current favorite.

We always do a lot of seafood and sugar cookies for Christmas and Christmas Eve. Nothing too special.
