I can't stand the taste of that imitation crab meat. Then again, I've lived in maryland for many years and we're pretty arrogant about our crabs.
Maryland blue crabs are the best in the country.
Apple cider vinegar + favorite beer in a steam pot.
dozen jumbo maryland blue crabs
old bay.
= win
when i was in philly me and family went to maryland and had crab.. was epic. one of the largest embarrassments of cali food culture is the crab cakes i see around here..
imitation food is for poor people.. i used to eat imitatiton crab as a 'treat' when i was a kid lol. i believe its made of pollack, which is a great flaky white fish.
are maraschino cherries considered imitation? that syrup + sprite makes a nice looking and tasting drink. similar to shirley temple.
im interested in vegetarian cuisine (though i might like meat too much to ever quit..)
theres a large selection of imitation meats that have been developed to imitate the real consistancy..
very interesting, esp the shrimp.. i buy these at a local chinese market.
