vegetable soup (with beef)

1x 32 oz carton of beef broth or stock (whichever you prefer for taste)
1x 2 lb bag of frozen mixed vegetables
1x can of stewed diced tomatoes
1 lb of your choice of ground beef (you can use more depending on your love for beef)
1x white onion
salt and pepper (or seasoning of your choice)

I use NO water for this method.
1. Make thin slices of the onions and brown that with the ground beef.
2. While that is browning up, get a pot and dump your mixed vegetables in along with the broth and tomatoes and let them simmer for a bit.
3. Once the ground beef/onions are browned, stick them in the pot along with the cooking vegetables.
4. Put your seasoning of choice in the pot.
5. Let that simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
6. Once its nice and hot, it's ready to eat!!

Just a quick method of how I do it, it can be done many other ways :)

made this but I added beans to it :P

My recipe for Uni/College students:

Cut up clove of garlic and an onion, fry.

Add a can of tomatoes, basil and oregano if you have them, cook for a lil bit and blend it.

Cut a piece of baguette in half and toast it whilst this is going on. Put the sauce on the baguette with cheese on top and grill it until melted.

OM NOM NOM.

Bonus - extra left over sauce can be had with pasta the day after.

Ed: My other 2 favourite dishes as a student.

Carbonarra - Start spagetti cooking. Cut some bacon up and fry it.

Crack 2/3 eggs in a bowl, add some milk and cheese and mix. Drain spaghetti when done, add the sauce and bacon to the pan and stir it to let the heat cook the sauce.

OM NOM NOM.

Risotto -

Fry a small onion and some cut up bacon.

Add 2 cups water, 1 cup rice(preferably risotto rice, but normal works), a chicken stock cube and a sliced pepper. Pinch of oregano and mixed herbs.

Keep simmering until the rice absorbs all the water.

You can add extra veg like mushrooms etc. when you're frying the bacon and onion.

12'' pizza dough
sauce
weak sprinkle of crushed red pepper
2 oz mozzerella cheese
2 oz sharp cheddar cheese
Take crumbled sausage and chop it so finely until it's minced and close to a powder almost, spread across pizza.
Add pepperoni slices to whole pizza
1 1/2 oz FRESHLY SHREDDED (not grated) parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder spread across pizza

Put everything on exactly in that order.

Idk how long to cook it cuz I use a professional grade pizza oven, but make it a LITTLE BIT well done.

My butter recipe:

16 ounces of heavy cream, chilled
1/2 teaspoon salt

Beat cream and salt until it has the consistency of scrambled eggs, about 3-5 minutes. Remove the liquid that comes out. Add a bunch of really cold water and knead the mixture until it starts to form a ball. Continue kneading it until all the liquid that runs out is clear (the yellowish liquid is actually buttermilk, it contains fat so we do not want it for the next step as it is counterproductive)

Add 6 quarts of water to a large stock pot. Add your butter and bring to a rolling boil. Add one pound of cannabis trimmings. Reduce heat, simmer for 3-4 hours. Remove from heat, and let cool to room temperature. Place in refrigerator. Over the course of the next few hours, the butter will rise to the surface and harden. Break apart and remove.

Add to everything.
