4-5oz steak? Sounds like a women's appetite I easily done a 20oz steak no

Np*

like i said... did u ever eat heavy marbled japanese beef? It doesnt feel like american beef. It feels very heavy.. I can eat a 14-16 oz american beef steak np but trust me you would feel like shit eating 16 oz of this beef... i doubt you could finish it... its basicaly half fat half meat lol... so yeah you feel satisfied with 5 oz. Also i'm not really interested anymore in eating large quantities of meat, especially beef with all the problems it can give to your health, as well as the environmental problems.

Salt
Pepper
Garlic (fresh or granulated depending on what I have on hand)

Those are the staples.

I sometimes add some other things to jazz it up depending on the cut of steak. If it's a lower quality cut of meat (because I don't have money for the good shit), I will marinade it in some apple cider vinegar and whatever oil I have (I try to get olive oil) and add some salt, pepper and other seasonings, again, depending on what I feel like tasting. lol

Culinaryfags let me know if I'm doing it wrong with the marinade.

(I would probably would want a different type of vinegar for a steak marinade, wouldn't I?)

I let the steak sit out to room temperature.

I then dab the blood off with paper towel.

I then lightly rub a tiny amount of oil on the steak

I season it moderately with crushed sea salt and freshly ground pepper.

I rub a little Montreal steak seasoning on it

Grill to medium

Salt + pepper, maybe a bit of cloves. Finish with a touch of quality butter when pulled off the grill.
Don't get to cute with steak and you'll have a delicious meal
