barrel aged narwhal is good, ill drink it but i wont buy anything by sierra nevada, they give $ to the sierra club who tries to get public lands closed so people cant use them

im a big proponent of keeping public lands open to the public, there for i wont held fund a closure of something i love

sierra can suck a dick

source, that doesn't sound like something they would do. doesn't make any sense.

Abv: 8.5
Ibu: 95

A: 4 Light amber, slight haze.. Thin head, maybe 2 fingers. Huge cascade of carbonation after the pour. Sticks to the glass.

S: 5 This beer defines an eastern american IPA.. Lots of notable citrus notes, some grape notes and plenty of hops.. Not even a slight instance of a yeasty/malty scent.. This beer gets down to business when it comes to being an IPA..

T: 5 First sip is crisp, almost refreshing.. As it rolls down the palette the first and most obvious flavor are the hops.. Probably cascade hops if I'm not mistaken.. Very citrusy and heavy evergreen.. Finishes with a lot of dry hopped flavor that almost works as a tannin in a good oaked Chardonnay.

M: 3 Lots of carbonation. Medium bodied beer, almost like a Belgium.. Leaves behind laces of carbonation behind the teeth and under the tounge.

Score: 4.25

Great IPA, awesome flavor.. Lots of grapefruit, citrus and evergreen hops.. Constant flavor, almost a session able 8.5 dipa..

Kinda disappointed in this one, not a whole lot of flavor out of this beer.. I'll post full review on it later.

Hope everybody is having a good holiday. Stay thirsty and drive safe my friends.
