I got a "special buy" a couple weeks ago on 13.06 lbs of uncut ribeye steak, but my friend who is a butcher wrecked his bike and can't leave his house let alone come cut it so I had to freeze it :(

This thread is asking what seasonings you put on a steak

When people mention Coca Cola, Soy Sauce, teriyaki Sauce... they are referring to marinades lol

For seasoning, salt heavily and fresh ground pepper (think of how thick the steak is.. and use your best judgement on the amount of salt is needed). You can try different rubs but when in doubt, S&P

Steaks i bought last week. (they have all kind of wicked super marbled cuts at a grocery store near my apartment in tokyo)
No coke or worcester sauce for this kind of meat lol... just salt n pepper. For the curious this cost 80$ a kilo, so like 20$ for 2X 4-5 once steaks.

Very good. A little thin to my liking, but usually its the way they cut the beef here. But yeah super juicy, super tender... and yeah it does feel pretty heavy so im happy with a 4-5 oz portion...
