Headed down to Williamsburg, stopping by one of my favorites but least known Alewerks. I'll post some pics of the flights.

e/ wow just looked on untapped 12 hour ago post cbs was at a bar like 25 mins away.

check in said, "glad i got this when i could one of the last pours of the keg."

I think you misread lol. He said Canadian breakfast stout which I've never heard of but sounds interesting.
I think you interepreted it as Kentucky breakfast stout which is a one day a year, super rare and hard to find release in ?April?

Haven't checked in to this thread in a month, really been slumming it anyways up until last week after thanksgiving when I finally bought some real beer.
Saw the holiday/seasonal twelve pack from blue moon. Has a typical winter/Christmas ale which like all of them is garbage, some classic blue moon, a decent outmeal/coffee stout which was nothing spectacular to me but got rave reviews from two girls.
The last beer in the pack was a cinnamon horchata ale which I guess is a Mexican style. It basically tasted like 2/3 cinnamon/Christmas cookie and 1/3 Japanese rice beer (think Sapporo).
I know this sounds bad but actually it was kind of tasty although I can't imagine drinking more than 1 or 2 at a time.

Also I bought a 4 pack of Great Lake's Blackout Stout.
It's a seasonal Russian Imperial stout by Cleveland's Great Lakes Brewing Co. and it is one of my faves each year.
For 9% abv it packs a lot of flavor. It reminds me of a slightly lighter, sweeter Bell's expedition stout but maybe after I drink the other two I will think of a better way to describe its taste.
