the 8 maids a milking was kinda disappointing, but i went into it thinking of a traditional milk stout, while this was a belgin style milk stout, and it was heavily spiced and SUPER sweet.

they are making a barrel aged version that will be out next year that should be better, and the barrel will help mellow out the spice and sweetness

BUT!!!

i found out a local place harry's hofbrau was doing a Tap take over with Founders Brewing and that was awesome

they had some really good beer

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS), Backwoods Bastard, Blushing Monk and reDANKulous

they were all really good, but i heard some one talking about Founders Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS)

Canadian Breakfast Stout is an Imperial Stout brewed with a blend of coffees and imported chocolates, then aged in spent bourbon barrels that have most recently been aging pure Michigan maple syrup.

i have to find one now....

Got some Otter Creek couch surfer oatmeal stout.. First time having it.. Wasn't bad, just tasted like a generic oatmeal stout..

Local beer shop just got in 3 Utopias.. Me and a few friends are thinking about splitting the horrendous price of 200 dollars and sharing it...

Think he made a fat tire clone with a bit of his own twist on the recipe and just set it aside for bottle carbonation

^ That, I've decided to wait till next year. I'm going to get it myself, so I can stash it away for a rainy day.. It's a beer that ages amazing, believe it or not.
