Have you ever tried real Dover sole? It's pretty similar to flounder or flake, but I've never been able to find the real thing. Most supermarkets just advertise a specific type of flounder as sole, but it's not actually real sole. They're both flat fish so I'm sure it's hard to tell the difference.

I've heard it's got a much better flavour. From what I know it's pretty hard to find it outside of Europe.

I've had the real thing before the last time I was in Europe, wasn't as remarkable as the price warranted. Might have been the way it was prepared but I prefer the taste of flounder and specifically only flounder caught in and around chincoteague and assateague island.

damn that sounds so good.
sometimes they have it at Blackfish Restaurant at the Tulalip Resort Casino on special.

My #1 fav would have to be grilled or broiled Coho Salmon.
the dark pink salmon... robust in flavour, with a sweet spicy season rub.. (sugar, ghost pepper, ginger).

it has to be filleted correctly so that bones aren't everywhere. i had to look up how to spell ˈfilleted '

Oh god, someone's from Washington lol. Tulalip Casino, went there once when I lived up there.

Shrimp/Lobster/Crab all tie for me...so fucking good.

Runners up: Mussels/Oysters.
