Can cook meat soo many different ways! Roast, Bake, Braise, Deep Fry, Pan Fry, Grill, Stew, Etc. Depends on what cut, where it is on the animal, toughness.
I'm in culinary school in the middle of the meat chapter :D
So much fun!
It's all about time and temperature!

crockpot some shit. i cook whole chickens in mine in about 3.5 hours. no liquid needed, it makes its own. season outside and inside (salt, pepper, whatever else). jam tasty, aromatic stuff in the cavity (onion, garlic, fresh herbs, apple, almost anything really). leave juices in the pot, add water and the bones, cook on low for about 8 hours, strain and BAM! chicken stock. freeze for up to a month. use chicken stock instead of water in nearly anything savory (rice tastes a lot better this way).
