I usually just use italian dressing, not so much for the taste. Just to make the steak a bit more tender since we try not to spend too much on dinners. Then season the fuck out of it with Montreal Steak Spice B)

As others have stated, if you're making sirloin/ribeye/filets, any good cuts of meat, don't marinate it.

Otherwise...

1. Italian dressing

2. Soy sauce/garlic (I use this for deer steak)

3. Dr. Pepper

i do a nice espresso rub on steak its great.
with pepper paprika salt
