finally gonna be leaving my current job. gonna be working in a local pizza shop, helping them with catering and upping their game in-house as well. finally getting back into some real cooking... B) and almost twice the pay aint bad, either...

correct me if im wrong but I swear you're the guy that was posting all that fancy shit with like 2 spoons of food? how is a pizza joint an upgrade? I'm not being a prick I'm just curious how the pay is higher when it seemed like the place you where was like "top notch"

that stuff wasnt where i was working, or wasnt what i was necessarily making there for the job. it was mostly experimentation at home. my current job (still there for another 1.5 weeks) is a home for disabled. terribad pay, terribad people to work with. so yeah, going from there just about anything is an upgrade... ;) not going to be doing much super fancy stuff there either, but at least ill be doing actual cooking instead of making sandwiches. will be doing some stuff, tho. popped in today to try out something, the feta/black olive/spinach egg roll i mentioned above. came out good.

No, unfortunately not wood fired. Woulda been nice. Haven't actually tasted it yet but their pizza is supposed to be good. I'm gonna be overseeing the rest - soups, salads, fish, lasagna, etc. Currently some is OK, some is not so great. I'll be making it all awesome.

nah, not fresh-made pastas. not that high-end.

although i did make some savory salmon eclairs yesterday that came out good. salmon, spinach and cilantro inside, glazed with sweet chili sauce.
