I love omelets, especially with cheese and bacon and all sorts of veggies.
I'm making an attempt at going on a sort of "diet" and going to get back to a gym to get in shape.
It's not only about losing weight, I want to be a "healthier" person overall, not stuffing my face all the time with fats, oils, etc.
I'm going to have to try and put some time into figuring out a diet that works for me if I'm going to make this work. Right now it consists of omelets, Caesar salads with light Caesar dressing, romaine, and chicken. Whole wheat flat breads with flax with veggies and chicken. Protein bars, and "vitality" bars.
perhaps you should post in the health and fitness forum for help, but I do want to stress that the conventional wisdom that fats and oils are unhealthy on their face is one that is fairly dated; there are certain fats and oil that are healthy. and depriving yourself of foods that taste good, or using low fat or low/no sugar foods, are not conducive to health.
