My parents paid for it, I gotta pick it up/pay them back. I think last time it was like 3$ or 4$/lb?

the price is gonna depend where you are located. i got a 1/2 a beefer last month for 3.29 a lb here in wisconsin and my relatives in TN paid like 4.80/lb about the same time i bought

How much did that run you? My boss was talking about how she and her husband do this. I've got the freezer space. On average, how much money do you save?

the money you save depends on how much beef you buy in the first place, if your cooking meals with beef quite a bit its going to cheaper and alot better qaulity than what you would get from a grocery store
i buy beef and pork every year from the local county fair. i dont eat much poultry but when i do i get the chicken freshly cleaned or sometimes alive yet

the other thing you can do with ground beef is poke a hole in it and do things unrelated to this board. i figure probably half of jsp at least does that.

You can make meatloaf, I know meatloaf has a reputation for being gross but if you do it right it can actually be really good (Make sure you serve with gravy and mashed potatoes)
