I dont see the need for all the foil. Just use a hot part of your grill and put it skin down. wait till the skin is crispy and then flip it over for grill marks and you're good to go.

Get your grill hot as fuck, hit it with a rag and some canola oil or whatever oil you want. Lay that bitch face down for 30 seconds, rotate it, and let it sit for another 30(for dem grill marks). Flip that bitch to it's skin side for 4 - 5 minutes depending on the fillet size. Be careful when pulling it off, salmon tends to fall apart when grilled.
