i usually spread it out a bit more, but i wanted to squeeze it all in instead of doing two batches or something. its pretty thin, so most should be done in 5-6 hours.

bout another 3-4 from now.

musta cut it a bit thinner than usual, most of its done already. just a couple pieces left that were thicker.

tastes good, too. had to take it away from my wife before she ate it all. even my 3 yo kept asking for more.

i've only made jerky once before.
do you have any like pro tips or guides you go by when making it?

the main thing is what i said above about how to slice it. (you can also use that when slicing meats for stir-frys.) beyond that, its just flavoring it however you want, letting it marinate a day or two and then drying it out. just make sure that you dont dry it out too much, and keep in mind that itll harden more when it cools off after you take it out.
