I prefer my Free Range chicken eggs.

You pay more for products that do not have salt.

A lot of foods with no preservatives tend to be a little more expensive since not as many people buy them.

The leaner meat is normally more expensive too.

Your better off buying a whole chicken then a pre cut chicken.

Also it depends on how you cook the food, baking is normally healthier then frying as long as you have a place for the fat and grease to drip. Or you can grill it.

Turkey is usually cheaper and has less fat in it.

Also they have fresh meet to make homemade burgers... a nice 4-5$ thing of meat at our store can fix 3-5 medium size burgers

Or would u rather pay 6$ for that mcdonald's meal that will last you 1 day? Or go buy the 5$ meet and get fed hamburgers for 1-3days? (For dinner or lunch or w/e)

Your call.

home made hamburgers are alot better for you and fresher then fast food.. rofl and cheaper

see what im getting at?

I hate to admit it, but I actually agree with the turd and hof

Eating healthily is easy, you gotta avoid the OBVIOUS places!

A market for instance. You can spend what, £30-£40 and get an entire weeks worth, and different variety of fruit and veg. And with a good knowledge of cooking and improv per say, you can make some great dishes.

A butchers will charge a massive amount for Meat of a superb quality, whereas a supermarket will charge a cheap price for crap meat - it really depends on what your tastes are like.

There's a middle line, and if youre not afraid to cook less "noble" meats, you can actually get good stuff for cheap, as long as you know how to prepare it

That is so untrue. Eating healthy can be very cheap, just as long as you know what you're doing and don't buy processed food.
-Everyweek they are always specials on plenty of vegs, you can get em for cheap... also theres veg that are cheap all year round (cabbage, onions etc..)
-You can buy various cereals for cheap, rice, quinoa, barley, etc etc
-As for protein, theres a lot of cheap stuff, from beans to tofu to whatever meat is on special at your grocery store...

that is like my new favorite thing to eat i cut up a green red and yellow peper cut up some green onions mix it all together i could eat that for weeks so damn good and you could add meat to it I tryed fish the other night with quinoa dish was quite good and i cant stand fish and or anything from the sea so thats saying something

That depends on your idea of 'healthy'.

If you don't mind eating genetically modified, pesticide covered garbage then yes. It's cheap.
