You could make a stir fry out of the top ramen. Friend of mine did that and it was pretty good. I made some the other day for the hell of it and added different kind of seasoning then he did and it turned out better imo.

This is delicious and cheap :)

Rice with fried sausages and pretty much whatever canned vegetables you like and some spices, maybe some sweet chili sauce.

Soup from whatever leftovers you have

You can't go wrong with potatoes. They are cheap (compared to other food) and require very few other ingredients.

Whether fried, baked, or mashed all you need is a little butter and some salt and pepper and/or ketchup.

Box of mac and cheese and a can of chili, fills you up. (You get "usta" feeling your soul drained a little with each bite)

Get a dehydrator and buy deer/cow/bear/moose/elk/etc meat off a local rancher or hunter for a good price and eat jerky for the rest of your life.

Grow a garden, I personally grow squash,pumpkins,sunflowers,cucumbers,zucchini,rhubarb,tomatoes,strawberries,potatoes,onions,etc.

I make zucchini bread, squash with cheese and spices, bake pumpkin/sunflower seeds, rhubarb pies, strawberry jam, etc etc and it is extremely cheap.

Freeze what you have left and you can enjoy home grown veggies all winter long.

I personally don't like rice but it is super cheap and can virtually be added to every meal.

As most people I also once partook in Ramen consumption, but life is so short and the effects of Ramen, I am most certain will shorten it even greater.

wow im surprised a european knows about sweet chili sauce, one of my faves!

op, i think u might have a common misconception about 'cheap' food. i think mebe ur probly lookin for food that is easy to make.
as long as u dont eat out, all food is cheap. the problem is more often the time investment required to make a good, appetizing and well prepared dish.
if it truly was a matter of cost, fruits and veges are cheap as hell too. 10 lb watermelon - $1, 5 corn for $1, head of cabbage $1, its natures extra value menu.
this is the kind of 'cheap' food u should aim for if u have any concern for health.
cheap food like instant ramen may be easy to make, but it will be disastrous for ur health if you develop a habit of eating it. the money u 'save' will be paid back w/ full interest later
