Yeah ive been to southeast asia and i can confirm you that durian smells pretty bad... Taste is decent, but meh.

You're the perfect example of why it's better to keep quiet and be presumed an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. Blue cheese, for example, has blue spots from what exactly? Oh yeah--mold.

As for the OP, fish sauce smells pretty nasty but tastes divine.
