Just got back from a Tuesday night blues and beer session at Oskar Blues. Had a new IPA I really liked. Widmer Brothers Rotator IPA X-114 is tremendous--and not just for the name. It's very hoppy and bitter, like any good IPA, but the finish is very smooth. What I really like about this IPA, though, is the overwhelming aroma and flavor of grapefruit--yes, grapefruit. It makes for a very crisp and refreshing beer--perfect for hot summer days. This beer is perfect with anything rich and/or spicy. Goes great with wings, bbq, burgers--anything you might have at a summer cookout. Get ahold of this if you can.
