well i read that you have to peel it so it removes its bitterness, but you cant peel the whole thing, you have to leave rows so it doesnt fall appart. It looks like huge poker chips lol
but ne way, i threw some sea salt on it and sautee'd it. the flavor was interesting, it reminded me of a very bland steak. It takes the flavor of whatever you put on it.
Next time ill probably try butter salt and maybe a little parmasan cheese. ^^
