Heavily season with salt and pepper, but that's it.

streaks are by nature unseasoned. in other words, naked.

Yes that's imo the best. But looking for other suggestions because the people I live with don't approve? Even lightly peppered salted. Thanks for responses

Could do like some kind of rub with paprika, garlic, rosemary and thyme. Also could do a chili powder based rub. I would still season both with salt and pepper as well tho.

High end steaks don't need anything, and it will taste wonderful, clearly you guys have never tasted top quality steak.

i like a dry rub

mb use a bit of worcheshire
salt,pepper,garlic powder,thyme,onion powder and mb some red pepper flakes

i like to marinade mine in beer and whishisher sauce then heavily season with garlic salt, and cracked pepper! :D

Italian salad dressing is also a really good marinade! :)
