Hello all!

My name is Ludovic and I want to start cooking for me and my girlfriend. The problem is that I am still a beginner at cooking, so i would love it if you guys could help me start by showing me some easy recipes that will impress my girlfriend by it's taste.

I will pick one recipe for tonight's diner and take pictures if I like any of the propositions I get.

TL:DR --> show me your favorite easy and simple recipes.

Do like a stew or stirfry. Both are pretty easy for beginners and hard to fuck up.

I'd buy a cookbook of something that piques your interest, and just start to tackle recipes you feel are in your comfort zone and progress gradually to more complex dishes.

sausage, potatoes, onions, salt and pepper, and some olive oil for cooking

chop up the veggies and meat
potatoes first, cook for about 20 minutes or until nicely browned and soft
Sausage and onions last
Pepper them. Add some salt but not too much. Sausage should be enough.

Chicken Alfrado,

Ingredients

Garlic1Tbsp
Chive1Tbsp
Salt 1 1/2 Tbsp (salt to taste)
White or Blackpepper 1teaspoon
heavy cream 2 1/2 cup
Parmesan cheese 1 1/2 cup
chicke 12-16oz
Pasta 2- 2 1/2 cups or 2 quater size thumb to pointer finger bundles of ling pasta
Butter 1/2 cup
Flour 1/2 cup

Boil water for pasta.Add salt and oil. Make sure noodle are not over cooked always better to go a little under.
Clean Mince galic an shalot.

Chick prep either leave the boneless brest whole or cut it into chunks, season well. Saute it, starting with a hot pan for a good sear.you could add a little garlic an shallots whilesauteing the chicken for extra flavor.

saute garlic an shalot.( Get pan warm add oil then add the garlic an shallots) once sauted, if excess oild drain. Then add cream an bring to a simmer, add dry ingredients now. white or black pepper 1teaspoon, 1 1/2 tbsp salt. when at simmer turn down slightly an stir in parmesan cheese. (if not thick enough add roux, butter metled an flour mixed in an then stir it into the cream sauce.

For healthier option you can poach the chicken.which i never really do but it preservs the color, for a great classic look.
